Who are you?

My name is Matthieu. I am from Strasbourg and graduated from a business school in La Rochelle.

I joined the Efor group in 2017 as a junior business manager and I am now head of business unit composed of 90 people.

What was the part of your hiring process that really stood out to you?

For the Business Manager job, we had to participate in a group session. There were about ten of us with different workshops, including one where I had to sell myself through an object: a corkscrew!

It was quite unusual.

So, a little nod to that corkscrew that allowed me to join the adventure.

Why did you choose EFOR?

For the feeling and the start-up spirit. We were about twenty employees in Strasbourg and only 200 in the group.

There was everything to be done and what I wanted above all was to undertake. It was an opportunity for me to become an intrapreneur, to recruit, to manage a team, and to develop my commercial skills.

It was a perfect mix.

Which one of our values resonates with you the most?

It’s about commitment.

It’s a job where you can’t be at 99%, you have to be at 100% all the time, like top athletes. It’s like running a marathon trying to be as close to 2 hours as possible! It’s a job where you can’t get bored. In the morning, you meet candidates, prospect clients, go out in the field, and manage.

I never thought I could do this at my age and I was given the opportunity to do it.

How would you describe your Efor adventure?

It’s first and foremost about meeting people !!

We have lots of laughs and share a lot. It’s a real adventure. There are no words, you just have to experience it.

We have employees who organize sports sessions with us, trail running, self-defense classes. We even set up a futsal team.

We are not just here for a job, we are here to live a real adventure, to share moments. We are all different but we wear the same color!!

Do you have any advice for future candidates?

Come as you are, be natural.

Joining the group is joining an adventure, a team where everyone has their place. We are looking for people who are different and can simply bring something to the table.

So, don’t put pressure on yourself, come as you are. We can’t wait to see you.
