6 years of commitment and growth: Pauline’s inspiring journey at Efor

14/08/2025

At Efor, our employees are our greatest strength. On the occasion of Pauline Chabran’s 6-year anniversary with the group, we invited her to share her reflections on the highlights of her journey, her growth, and what makes the Efor adventure so rewarding on a daily basis. Between adaptability, kindness, and commitment, discover the inspiring story of a consultant who fully embodies the values of our company.

  • You just celebrated your 6-year anniversary with Efor — congratulations!
If you had to sum up this adventure in one sentence, what would it be?

Adaptability and kindness are the keys to excellence.

  • Looking back, what are the standout moments that come to mind?

My first interview with Aymeric Renault, of course, since I wouldn’t be here today without it.
Also, my meeting with Marine Guillou, who supported me as a manager and opened many opportunities.

  • Is there a project or mission that had a particular impact on you?

All of my experiences have impacted me. I’ve learned from every assignment, and it’s thanks to that that I am where I am today.

  • What have been the major milestones in your development at Efor?

The shift from working in the lab to focusing on HSE was a turning point in my career. I gained new skills that I was then able to apply to help the Aix office achieve the MASE certification. The experience I’ve accumulated over these 6 years now also allows me to support Efor’s Technical Direction more broadly.

  • What skills have you developed the most during these 6 years?

Primarily HSE / SSE. Despite my background in chemical labs, I was not very involved in my own safety before. Now I understand the importance of these issues, and I try to pass on this safety culture to other consultants. My involvement with the MASE process has really helped me with this.

  • What role has Efor played in your professional development?

The dynamic and close relationship between managers and consultants has been a real advantage.
I’ve always been trusted, given autonomy, and offered opportunities building on my skills and Efor’s needs.

  • You recently received the Engagement Award—congratulations!
What does this recognition mean to you?

It represents hope for the future. Efor has succeeded in fostering a caring company culture that highlights its talents.
With this model, I hope others realize that we get further with a simple “thank you.”

  • What motivates you to continue your journey with Efor after all these years?

I’m driven by the desire to help and share knowledge with newcomers (and veterans) so we can grow Efor together. Efor has trusted me for 6 years, given me the autonomy I need, and offered growth opportunities. I really want more people to have this experience and to contribute to the company’s success.

  • What advice would you give to a consultant joining Efor today?

Don’t hesitate to step out of your comfort zone. Take on projects even if there are aspects you don’t yet know, and persevere. That’s the only way to grow!

  • Where do you see yourself in 6 years?
What are your hopes for your future career?

I’d like to continue contributing my knowledge and skills—maybe by training consultants eager for change, sharing this expertise with clients, or managing technical projects. Efor keeps reinventing itself and launching new offers every year. I’m confident there will be plenty of opportunities ahead.

Pauline’s journey illustrates the importance of teamwork, the ability to reinvent oneself, and the central role of knowledge sharing at Efor. Her story reminds us that success is built through support, mutual trust, and the collective desire to grow the company together. Thank you to Pauline, consultant at the Efor Aix-en-Provence office, for her commitment and enthusiasm in contributing today and tomorrow to Efor’s success and the fulfillment of all our teams.
